Quick Sunday project included rustoleum, frog tape, and some colorful paper to paint over the brass on the fireplace. Such a quick and cheap update! I love!
Painters are coming next week to paint the kitchen and family room. The color is still TBD (how can colors look so different throughout the day), but the walls are ready. Matt removed the dated chair railing in just ten minutes! Always a pleasant surprise when a project is quicker than imagined.
And this little pup approved of the removal!
And then we were off to lacrosse for some Oktoberfest celebrating!
Turns out September is a great time to buy patio furniture. We shopped around quite a bit, but ended up buying one of our original favs for a steal at Lowes.
And we have definitely been enjoying our new girl! Thank you Jean and Ken Frank! And Winnie has been enjoying nights on the deck spying on the neighborhood ducks!
We officially sent Mr. Ziggy to cartoon heaven! It took two layers of high hide primer and two coats of paint, but it was totally worth it. I love how clean and fresh it feels down in that room now. However, I do have a feeling we will continue to reference this random storage room as the Ziggy room…
We spent the long weekend working hard. This included tree removal, brush removal, tree trimming, grass cutting, mildew removal, painting, cooking, and more furniture shopping! Holla!
I’ve never had such a productive holiday weekend! As always, super thankful to our fam for all the help:
Mold-be-gone! And Ziggy, you are next!
Rainbow, Jean birthday celebration, and crock pot dinner break!
Followed by more furniture shopping, tree trimming, a long run, and a much needed night of drinks with friends!
