Entryway Progress and 4th of July with the Nieces

It has been over a month since our contractor started deconstructing and reconstructing our entryway. After a few delays (uneven tile, late shipments, etc) we’ve finally made substantial progress. He still has to come back next week to finish the details, but so far we are SO happy with the changes. No more mauve tile calls for a few high fives!

Progress: Izzy was NOT helpful at all and are one too many of the tools…


Before and After:  I learned while trying to take many after pictures in our house that the realtors photographer definitely had a panoramic lense.

And most importantly, the spindles were completed just hours before these littles came over for dinner and to kick of the Fourth of July celebrations.  Matt made venison bison burgers and I threw together a few sides! It was a fun night, without any pictures ..:(
